Join the ene.field National Workshop in The Hague

The FCH JU funded project ene.field together with Energy2GO, the Dutch platform for sustainable gas applications are organising a joint workshop named The cost-effective energy transition in the Netherlands on 23 January 2017 in The Hague (NL).

Cogeneration or Combined Heat and Power (CHP) is the most efficient way to deliver heating, cooling and electricity. It is being gradually chosen by citizens to cover different scale of heat and power needs. The FCH JU supported project ene.field will deploy up to 1,000 residential fuel cell Combined Heat and Power (micro-CHP) installations across 12 key Member States. It represents a step change in the volume of fuel cell micro-CHP (micro FC-CHP) deployment in Europe and a meaningful step towards commercialisation of the technology.

The aim of this workshop is to inform participants on the ene.field project findings and of the potential of decentralised power generation products for the energy transition in the Netherlands, as part of a series of ene.field national workshops that will present project findings in different markets across Europe. Ideas and inputs will be collected from the audience including local policy-makers, academics, industries, DSO, ESCOs, utilities, operators and end-users, with a view to address the challenges for a deployment of fuel cell micro-CHP technologies in the Netherlands. This workshop is held for policymakers and organisations that deal with energy transition and sustainable building solutions.
