Have your say on future objectives for EU-funded research and innovation

The European Commission has launched an online consultation to help prepare a Strategic Plan for the EU’s new research and innovation programme, Horizon Europe. Horizon Europe has a proposed budget of €100 billion and will run from 2021 to 2027. The FCH JU encourages stakeholders in the fuel cells and hydrogen community to contribute to this consultation.

As such, we invite you to complete this questionnaire prepared by the European Commission before the deadline of 8 September 2019. Further engagement will be possible through the European Research and Innovation Days on 24-26 Sepember 2019 in Brussels. Overall, this consultation will help identify impacts, spark debate and new ideas.

The consultation welcomes input from across Europe and beyond. The Strategic Plan will help guide the work programmes and calls for proposals for Horizon Europe’s first four years (2021-2024). Horizon Europe will succeed the Horizon 2020 programme which has supported the FCH JU (2014-2020). A further consultation specific to the FCH JU will follow in due course.
