The Fuel cells and Hydrogen technologies will be present during the EU sustainable Energy Week

12-14 April 2011:

Showcasing new approaches to the production and consumption of energy, the 2011 EU Sustainable Energy Week- among more than 100 events hosted in Brussels- will feature the fuel cells and hydrogen technologies solutions for a sustainable future.

The Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking will be present during the Sustainable Energy Week in Brussels with a stand in the European Commission – Charlemagne building (2nd floor) on 12-13 and 14 April 2011. Participants are invited to meet and get an insight of the FCH technologies contributions to sustainable energy.

 A public workshop on Fuel cells and hydrogen within the European Initiative on Smart Cities jointly co-organized by FuelCellEurope, NEW-IG and EHA (The European Hydrogen Association) will take place on Wednesday 13 April 2011.

 A Hydrogen Bus, one of the 26 Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Buses of the FCH JU funded CHIC project  will be located right outside the doors of the European Commission Berlaymont building (within the Berlaymont courtyard).  The Bus will be open for visitors all day from 9:30-13:00 and 14:00-17:00 and turn from 13:00 until 13:30 on April 12 and 14 and from 13:30 until 14:00 April 13, into discussion sessions which will highlight the progress in the use of hydrogen and fuel cells as part of Europe’s sustainable energy and transport system.
