Fuel cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking' Programme review and 4th Stakeholders General assembly- Presentations available online
30 November 2011-
The FCH JU organised its 4th Stakeholders’ General Assembly, in Brussels on 22 and 23 November 2011. The first day of the 2011 Stakeholders’ General Assembly was devoted to a Programme Review. The progress of the portfolio of projects- close to 60 projects dedicated to fuel cells and hydrogen have been assessed in relation to the targets fixed in the multi-annual and annual strategic agenda as well as with reference to international developments in the field. All presentations of the different projects are available online.
The second day session discussed the contribution of fuel cells and hydrogen technologies in the decarbonisation of Europe's economy and featured the achievement path from FCH research to market entry, with a strong focus on deployment strategies. It fostered exchanges on appropriate public and private support to enable these technologies to consistently support EU innovation and address environment and energy challenges which Europe will face for the next decades.
The event brought together some 380 participants (European and global stakeholders from various sectors including research, industry and financial communities, policy makers and international partners) to network and exchange views on achievements and the future developments of Fuel Cells and Hydrogen technologies.
