Following the success of the HydrogenTrain workshop in Brussels, the 14th International Hydrail Conference will take place from 20 to 21 June 2019 in Hamburg, Germany. The conference includes an excursion to the town of Bremervörde where ALSTOM operates its hydrail iLINT railcars.
This event was part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). It discussed the elements needed to develop and implement an integrated approach for the ramp up of hydrogen in different European regions (“the hydrogen valleys”). It looked at, among others, policy, finance / investments, business models, local (regional) contexts and technology, to show how the development of hydrogen valleys can foster economic growth in the European regions while answering to the local energy needs and... Hydrogen has an important role in Europe’s transition to a decarbonized energy system. The success of this transformation could not just reduce carbon emissions; it could also boost industrial competitiveness, reduce resource dependency, cut energy costs, and improve citizens’ lives as air quality improves. However, much more can be done. With this event we aim to offer an insight into the plans for development of the fuel cells and hydrogen (FCH) sector in the Nordic countries and the... Read more
The 32nd International Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS 32) will take place in Lyon between 19-22 March 2019. For the first time this year, EVS32 dedicates an entire part of the exhibition and conference program to hydrogen, the low-carbon energy that can support the transformation of the transport sector towards zero-emissions mobility (zero noise, zero air pollution). The FCH JU will be present at the event and will be hosting together with Aphypac and Hydrogen... Read more
