Low Carbon Vehicle Event
The 9th annual Cenex Low Carbon Vehicle event is taking place on 14- 15 September 2016 in Milbrook, UK. Around 3.000 visitors are expected to attend the UK's premier low carbon vehicle event featuring seminars, technology exhibition and Ride & Drive of the latest research and development commercially available vehicles.
FCH JU Executive Director Bart Biebuyck will present in a seminar session entitled Energy for Transport; Alternative Fuels and Energy Infrastructure to take place in the Main Plenary on Day 1, 14 September between 14:00-15:15.
The following FCH JU supported projects will be present at the event as well:
H2ME2 will be present at the exhibition with a stand, its outdoor stand will offer the possibility of Drive & Ride of two fuel cell cars from HyFIVE project.
Hytec project will pre represented at Cenex stand and will include two fuel cell vehicles.
Fuel cell bus from CHIC project will be used to transport delegates on and off-site during the LCV event, as part of a mobile exhibition of low carbon buses. Michael Doleman from Element Energy will be presenting on European strategy on Hydrogen buses, Lessons learnt from CHIC project and EU procurement strategy for Hydrogen Fuel Cell buses, to be presented at 10:30 ,15th September – Seminar Dome.
HyTransit and High V.LO-City are two bus FCH JU projects that make up the Aberdeen hydrogen bus project. The Aderdeen Hydrogen Bus Project has been nominated for a LowCVP award.
