Joint Workshop: An innovation pipeline for Hydrogen & Fuel Cells
On the occasion of the TEN-T days that will take place in Riga on the 22 and 23 June, the FCH JU becomes a partner of the TEN-T/CEF programme to organise and hold the first joint innovation workshop for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell technology.
This session will take place on the Tuesday 23 of June at 14.30 and is based on the pipeline concept that will be presented at the general innovation session of Monday morning, and will, as a first example, establish a specific innovation pipeline for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell technology .
The four facets of the workshop contain also a presentation of the European Investment Bank (EIB) adapting the new financial instruments of Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and Juncker Initiative to the specific needs of innovative projects as well as a breakout exhibition on H2 & FCT. In parallel of this workshop, a significant H2 exhibition will take palce throughout the two days of the event.
European Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc, in cooperation with the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and Minister of Transport Anrijs Matīss, will invite Ministers, Members of the European Parliament and key stakeholders to Riga to discuss the development of the trans-European transport network, with a special focus on the Core Network Corridors, their implementation and financing.
