Joint European Summer School on Fuel Cell, Electrolyser, and Battery Technologies

The Joint European Summer School (JESS 2016) on Fuel Cell, Electrolyser and Battery Technologies will be held on 12- 23 September 2016 in Athens, Greece. The lectures, divided into introductory and specialised courses, will be focused on the technology aspects of the FCH technologies. Starting from the fundamental principles of electrochemistry and thermodynamics the entire spectrum of materials, design and balance of plant will be covered both from an engineering point of view as well as from a modeling perspective and business development matters. The two weeks are conducted independently of each other and targeted audience, mostly young professionals and experienced researchers, can choose the most appropriate courses. The Summer School will be conducted by a selected group of European high level lecturers currently working at the leading edge of fuel cell, hydrogen and battery sectors.
