International workshop on characterization and quantification of MEA degradation processes
An international workshop is taking place on 26 and 27 September 2012 at Minatec, CEA in Grenoble on the topic of characterization and quantification of MEA degradation processes, in the context of the Premium act project funded by the FCH JU.
Invited speakers include:
- Atsushi Ohma (Nissan Research Center, Japan): “Study on Microstructure of Catalyst Layer and its Impact on Performance and Degradation”
- Karren More (Oak Ridge National Laboratory, USA): “Application of Advanced Microscopy Methods to Understand MEA Materials Degradation”
- Laetitia Dubau (LEPMI, Grenoble University, France): “Durability of “Pt3Co/C Cathode Electrocatalyst during Long-term Real PEMFC Operation”
- Hans Bettermann (University Düsseldorf, Germany): "On-Line Gas Detections from PEM Fuel Cell Flow Fields by Raman Measurements and Electric Arc Emission Spectroscopy"
- Arnaud Morin (CEA, France): “What about the link between performance and chemical degradation of sulfonated poly(aryl ether ketone)?”
- Around 20 talks focused on the “Characterization and quantification of MEA (Membrane Electrodes Assembly) degradation processes” (R&D field = Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells).
