International Transport Forum summit 2016

Taking place on 18- 20 May 2016, the Annual Summit of the International Transport Forum is the premier global transport policy event. Since 2008, the Summit brings together ministers from around the world to share policy perspectives with CEOs, heads of international organisations, leaders from civil society and academia, and media. ITF’s 2016 Summit on Green and Inclusive Transport will explore the importance of low-carbon transport as an essential element in the transition to a green growth economy as well as the changes needed to make transport more inclusive and provide access for everyone to jobs, public services, and other opportunities. The Summit offers a rich programme over three days including policy discussions with ministers in different formats, keynote addresses, networking opportunities, demonstrations, technical tours and an exhibition.

FCH JU is joining this unique event with a dedicated stand throughout the event. The FCH JU Chair Pierre- Etienne Franc is joining a closed ministerial session named "The path beyond Paris: Paving a low- carbon future for transport" along with other high- level speakers on 18 May.
