16th International Symposium on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

The 16th International Symposium on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC-XVI) will be held in Kyoto, Japan on 8-13 September 2019 at Kyoto Terrsa. This international symposium will bring together scientists, engineers, and researchers from academia, industry, and government laboratories to share results and discuss issues related to solid oxide fuel cells and electrolyzers. This meeting provides an opportunity to learn and exchange information on the latest scientific and technical developments relating to SOFCs and SOECs. For further information including the event programme, see the conference website.

During the plenary lectures on Monday 9 September 2019, the FCH JU will present their paper on The Status of SOFC and SOEC R&D in the European Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking Programme to be published in ECS Transactions. The paper gives an overview of the activities that the FCH JU supports in the area of fuel cells and hydrogen for stationary applications with a focus on solid oxide based technologies.
