Generating Sustainable Heat and Power for your Home
The latest smart energy solution for private homes, fuel cell micro-CHP, will be showcased this Wednesday 11 October 2017 at Autoworld in Brussels, on the occasion of the European conference "Fuel Cell micro-Cogeneration: Generating Sustainable Heat and Power for your Home."
Organised by the FCH JU projects ene.field and PACE, this conference will present the micro-CHP technology's main highlights and how it can efficiently generate heat and electricity for homes. The program will also highlight how micro-CHP contribute to Europe’s energy transition and provide greater flexibility for the energy system.
In addition to the rich conference program, participants will have the chance to take a closer look at the Fuel Cell micro-Cogeneration units on display at the event’s exhibition. This will be an excellent opportunity to engage with key policymakers, industry and research community representatives on the potential and future of Fuel Cell micro-Cogeneration in Europe.
"Fuel Cell micro-Cogeneration: Generating Sustainable Heat and Power for your Home." is organised in the frame of the European week of regions and cities. Among the speakers are representatives from the European Committee of the Regions, European Commission, FCH JU, national administrations, industry and academia.

About the projects
ene.field and now PACE are the largest European demonstration projects of the latest smart energy solution for private homes, micro-CHP. ene.field and PACE will see over 3,500 households across Europe able to experience the benefits of this new energy solution. The projects use modern fuel cell technology to produce heat and electricity in households and empower them in their electricity and heat choices and bring together partners including European manufacturers, utilities, and research institutes making the products available across 11 European countries.
