FCH JU at the 2015 EU Sustainable Energy Week Policy Conference

On the 18 June in the morning, the FCH JU will join a session as part of the main programme of the Sustainable Energy Week Policy Conference, on the Public Private Partnership as a tool to accelerate energy innovation.

The session will highlight the role of the public -private partnership model as an effective way for European intervention to overcome current obstacles and to coordinate R&D activities.

The example of the FCH JU will illustrate how pooling resources together at a European level is a real added value in bridging research and innovation in sectors of strategic importance for Europe.

The session will bring stakeholders representatives to attest the progress made by the fuel cell and hydrogen technology and take stock of its current status.  The key priorities will be outlined to better understand what is still necessary under Horizon 2020 to bring this technology to the market to support the top-level European policy agenda.

Furthermore, the session will also provide an insight into how stationary fuel cells applications can underpin the European ambitions for the transition to low-carbon competitive economy.
